飯沼飛行士記念館, Biographical museum in Azumino, Japan

The Iinuma Pilot Museum displays numerous aviation artifacts and personal belongings of pilot Masaaki Iinuma within his preserved family residence in Azumino.

In 1937, pilot Masaaki Iinuma established an international record by flying the Japanese-built Kamikaze aircraft from Tokyo to London in 94 hours and 17 minutes.

The museum exhibits preserve the legacy of Japanese aviation development through photographs, newspapers, letters, and technical documents from the 1930s era.

The museum opens daily from 9:00 to 17:00 except Mondays, with admission fees of 410 yen for adults and free entry for students under junior high school.

The museum building incorporates the original 1876 family house of Masaaki Iinuma, featuring traditional white walls and ceramic tile roofing.
