Jumanji - The Adventure, Dark ride in Gardaland, Italy
Jumanji – The Adventure is a dark ride at Gardaland where riders board motion-based vehicles and navigate through dense jungle environments. The track features animatronic creatures and special effects as passengers travel through an archeological excavation site.
The attraction opened in April 2022, replacing the previous Egyptian-themed Ramses ride that had operated since 2009. The location was completely redesigned with new theming and updated ride technology for this installation.
The ride draws from the Jumanji film series, bringing scenes and characters from the blockbuster movies into a physical theme park setting. Visitors encounter the jungle adventure story they know from cinema while traveling through the attraction.
Each vehicle accommodates six passengers, and the ride lasts about three minutes from start to finish. The attraction has 12 vehicles operating to handle continuous visitor flow throughout the day.
Along the journey, visitors encounter a massive stone guardian figure and must confront a giant hippo during their adventure. They also protect a sacred jewel while passing through areas populated by venomous spiders.
