Maria Madre della Provvidenza

Maria Madre della Provvidenza is a church in the Monte Verde district with three naves divided by tall arched pillars creating distinct sections. The entrance portico is supported by five substantial columns that frame the way into the building.

The parish was established on March 19, 1937, through a decree by Cardinal Francesco Marchetti Selvaggiani. This creation provided a new spiritual center for the Monte Verde neighborhood.

A large fresco by painter Igino Cupelloni dominates the central apse with Mary surrounded by angels and biblical scenes. This artwork shapes how the interior space feels and draws the eye naturally when entering.
