Murakami Kaizoku Museum, Naval museum in Imabari, Japan.
The museum exhibits arms, armor, historic documents, and scale model boats representing maritime activities of the Murakami Clan in the Seto Inland Sea.
Established in 2004 as the Imabari City Murakami Suigun Museum, the institution changed its name to Murakami Kaizoku Museum in April 2020.
The Murakami clan members composed traditional Japanese poems at Oyamazumi Shrine while maintaining their naval operations in the Seto Inland Sea region.
Located at 1285 Miyakubo, the museum operates from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with admission fees of 310 yen for adults and 160 yen for students.
Visitors can experience wearing traditional arms and short-sleeved kimono in the Wakuwaku Taiken Room on the second floor of the museum.
