Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-van-Lourdeskerk

The church features a cruciform layout with a tower, narthex, and Marian chapel, constructed using local marl and Kunrader stone materials.

Built between 1936 and 1937 under architect Frits Peutz's direction, the church replaced a temporary structure from 1924 serving the newly established parish.

The interior displays stained glass windows created by Limburg artists in 1960, complementing the wooden vaults and black hardstone floors.

Visitors can access the Mariakapel from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM daily, with the main entrance located at the intersection of Rooseveltlaan and Lourdesplein.

The church houses a 1906 E. Kerkhof organ, transferred from the Chapel of Klevarie, adding musical richness to religious ceremonies.
