Formule X

Formule X is a steel roller coaster in Drievliet Park that uses magnetic launch technology and delivers quick directional changes. The ride combines inversions with a steeply banked turn section on a compact layout.

The coaster opened in 2007 and was a debut for the X-Car model with LSM launch technology in the amusement industry. This system changed how compact coasters accelerate passengers from rest.

The ride features racing-themed decorations like traffic lights and fuel barrels that create the feeling of a high-speed pursuit. Visitors experience automotive elements throughout the track that make the journey feel like a motorsport moment.

The attraction requires a minimum height of 130 centimeters and accelerates riders to high speed in just two seconds. Visitors should check wait times and prepare for quick, intense turns and directional changes.

The coaster fits within a roughly 50 by 50 meter footprint and feels remarkably compact despite containing complex ride elements. This tight layout creates an intense experience squeezed into very limited space.
