Dynamite Express

The Dynamite Express is a powered roller coaster at Drievliet Family Park that simulates exploring an abandoned mineshaft through its theming. The ride stretches about 860 feet (260 m) long, reaches a maximum height of about 36 feet (11 m), and contains no inversions.

The ride was manufactured by Mack Rides and began operations in June 2005. It has remained a consistent feature of the Drievliet park since its opening.

The abandoned mineshaft theme of the roller coaster reflects the industrial heritage elements incorporated into modern Dutch entertainment facilities.

Rides run in a train with six cars that hold about 24 passengers total, each with a safety bar. The ride lasts around one minute, so expect longer waits on busy days.

Unlike traditional roller coasters that rely on gravity, this ride maintains speed through powered drive systems in the track itself. This creates a steady experience without the acceleration surges visitors expect from other coasters.
