Royal Chapel in Gdańsk, Baroque church at Świętego Ducha Street, Gdańsk, Poland.
The Royal Chapel features a Greek cross layout within a rectangular structure, crowned by a central dome supported by four pentagonal columns.
Construction began in 1678 with funding from Primate Andrzej Olszowski's estate and King Jan III Sobieski, reaching completion in 1681.
The chapel provided a Catholic place of worship in predominantly Protestant Gdańsk, serving visiting Polish monarchs and the local Catholic community.
Access to the interior is restricted to mass attendance, with visitors instructed to maintain appropriate decorum during religious services.
The paintings under the dome, depicting The Four Evangelists, were created by Karl Friedrich Meyerheim during the 1838 renovation.
