The Zasanie Synagogue stands on the western bank of the San River, featuring a Baroque Revival architectural design with precise geometric patterns.
Constructed in 1892 and completed in 1909, the synagogue functioned as a religious center until 1939, when Nazi forces converted it into a power station.
The synagogue represents the heritage of the Jewish community in Przemyśl, where over 2,400 Jewish residents contributed to local development by 1765.
Located at Plac Unii Brzeskiej 6, the synagogue building remains closed to visitors and requires substantial restoration work to preserve its structure.
This synagogue was the only Jewish house of worship constructed on the western side of San River in Przemyśl during the late 19th century.
