Salesian church in Przemyśl, Gothic Revival church in Przemyśl, Poland.
The Salesian church in Przemyśl is a religious building featuring a tower design inspired by Saint Mary's Basilica in Krakow. The structure extends approximately 42 meters in length and rises to approximately 62 meters in height.
Construction of this religious building started in 1912 under architect Mario Ceradini. The structure was dedicated in 1923 and fully consecrated in 1927.
The interior displays paintings showing Priest August Czartoryski and his work with the local community. His shrine sits in the side chapel dedicated to Mary Help of Christians.
The building serves as an active place of worship with regular services throughout the week. Visitors should check hours before arriving and dress respectfully when entering.
During the 2022 crisis, the building became a crucial support point for people crossing the nearby border. Its role as a refuge shows how community spaces come together in times of need.
