The Sacred Heart Basilica features a grand entrance with ten columns and contains an interior layout inspired by Saint Paul Outside the Walls in Rome.
Construction began in 1907 under architect Łukasz Wolski, with funding from the Radziwiłł family and received papal blessing from Pope Pius X.
The church holds regular jazz concerts, piano performances, and religious ceremonies, serving as a central gathering point for the local Catholic community.
The basilica measures 65 meters in length, 30 meters in width, and 22 meters in height, with services conducted by Salesian priests throughout the week.
The church structure incorporates early reinforced concrete techniques pioneered by engineer Kazimierz Grabowski, representing technological advancement in Polish architecture.
