Chyrowa, Mountain summit in Subcarpathian Voivodeship, Poland

Chyrowa is a summit in the Beskid Niski mountain range in the Subcarpathian region, rising above the surrounding valleys below. From the top, hikers can see across the ridge system and observe distant peaks of the region in clear conditions.

The area around Chyrowa has been inhabited since the 14th century by the Lemko population, who lived under the rule of the Bogoria family. These early settlements shaped the cultural identity that remains visible in the region today.

Near the mountain stands a traditional wooden Orthodox church from the 18th century that reflects the local Lemko community's religious heritage. The timber structure and religious elements visible today show how faith shaped the character of this region.

The mountain is accessible via marked hiking trails, with a red-marked route leading from the village through forests to the summit. The hike takes approximately two to three hours and is suitable for people with average fitness levels.

The area also offers winter sports opportunities with ski slopes adjacent to the mountain, featuring a wide run for skiers of all levels. This combination of summer hiking and winter skiing makes the location an all-season destination.
