Pałac w Dukli

The Dukla Palace is an 18th-century baroque residence with white facades standing at the foot of Cergowa mountain. Its symmetrical structures and architectural details showcase the classical style of that era.

Construction of this noble residence began around 1700 and it quickly became a center for regional politics and social gatherings. Over centuries, the building maintained its importance as a key meeting place for the local aristocracy.

The building houses a Historical Museum with exhibitions about local events and regional craft traditions. These collections show how people in this area lived and worked over time.

The museum is open daily with extended hours from May to September, allowing visitors to plan their visits according to the season. Guided tours can be arranged in advance, and checking ahead helps you avoid peak times.

The palace grounds include gardens near the Jasiołka river, which flows at the lowest mountain pass through the entire Carpathian range. This geographic feature made the location a natural crossroads for trade and travel in the region historically.
