Skałka

Skałka is a mountain summit in the Beskid Sądecki range, rising prominently with three distinct rocky peaks visible from different angles. The terrain combines open slopes with forested sections that create varied landscapes as you move across it.

The mountain is connected to a medieval legend involving a historical figure who reportedly sought shelter here during a flight from invaders. This association has anchored the peak in the region's collective memory for centuries.

The mountain slopes held pastoral traditions until the early 20th century, with shepherd Tomasz Guszkiewicz managing the grazing lands from 1824 to 1910.

This summit is accessible via marked hiking trails that connect to neighboring peaks and offer different difficulty levels. Sturdy footwear and basic navigation skills help you move safely through the terrain.
