Kubalonka, Mountain summit in Wisła, Poland
Kubalonka is a mountain summit in the Silesian Beskids that rises to approximately 830 meters and dominates the landscape south of Wisła. The peak serves as a central point within this mountain range, with several hiking paths connecting from the valley below.
The region became known as a hiking destination after Wisła was granted town status in the 1960s and began attracting more visitors. Since then, marked paths developed to make this mountain landscape accessible for outdoor recreation.
Numerous marked trails across Kubalonka connect to a network of paths used by local communities for centuries to traverse the Silesian Beskid ranges.
The hiking paths are accessible year-round but require extra caution in poor weather or winter conditions. A visit works best during warmer months or when weather is stable.
From the summit, visitors can see both Polish and Czech territory on clear days, along with several neighboring peaks across the range. This wide viewpoint makes it a favored spot for panoramic photography and landscape observation.
