Zalew Dzibice, Water reservoir in Dzibice, Poland.
Zalew Dzibice is a reservoir system comprising four artificial lakes created by damming the Białka River, with the western basin being the largest of these water bodies. The entire complex provides multiple water surfaces of varying sizes across the landscape.
The reservoir system was created through damming works to manage water resources in the Śląskie Voivodeship region. These construction efforts fundamentally reshaped the original river landscape into its current form.
The reservoir has become a popular gathering place where locals enjoy water sports and swimming, especially during summer months. The beaches and surrounding green areas create spaces for casual leisure and recreation.
Boat rentals such as kayaks and pedal boats are available for exploring the water. A sandy beach provides space for swimming and sunbathing, with the best conditions during warmer months.
The complex sits at the base of Słupsko Hill, the northernmost peak of the Kroczyce Rocks formation. A railway line runs along the northern edge of the water system.
