Krośnicka Kolej Wąskotorowa, Rideable miniature railway in Krośnice, Poland.
Krośnicka Kolej Wąskotorowa is a narrow-gauge railway that runs through the Palace Park in Krośnice. The line connects five stations along a roughly 3-kilometer route, taking riders through the park's landscape.
The railway was developed as part of the Krośnice park complex. A vintage steam locomotive built in 1955 arrived at the site in 2012 and now operates as the historic train engine.
The stations along the line display educational panels about local plants and animals that visitors pass while riding through the park. These displays help travelers learn about the region's nature in a hands-on way.
Tickets and information are available at the Tourist Information Center in the station building, which also has a café for refreshments. The site includes other leisure facilities such as sports courts and bike rentals for those wanting to spend more time at the complex.
Beyond riding the train, the complex includes tennis and basketball courts and a 120-bed hostel within the same grounds. This combination makes it a multi-activity destination for visitors seeking different kinds of recreation.
