Temernitsky Bridge

The Temernitsky Bridge is a highway crossing over the Don River in Rostov-on-Don that links the city to southern districts. The structure spans roughly 2.3 kilometers and allows river traffic to pass beneath it while carrying vehicles above.

The bridge opened in 2010 and took its name from the nearby Temernik River. It quickly became a key traffic link for the southern part of the city.

The bridge connects different districts of Rostov-on-Don, serving as a central meeting point for residents who gather there during city celebrations.

The crossing is designed for continuous vehicle traffic and sees heavy daily use from thousands of cars. Pedestrians have access to sidewalks that offer a safe passage with open views of the river below.

The structure includes two shore overpasses that prevent it from directly blocking the river corridor. This clever design allows the infrastructure to merge smoothly into the existing city layout.
