Ош-Пандо

Osh-Pando is an ancient fortified settlement on a high chalk hill with defensive walls and ditches that protected its ground. Excavations have uncovered multiple occupation layers and remains spanning different periods.

The settlement arose in prehistoric times and was inhabited across multiple epochs. Researchers could determine through layering that different cultures used and abandoned this place in sequence.

The site shows traces of daily life from ancient times: dwelling pits, pottery, and small tools lie buried here. You can imagine how people lived and worked on this hill centuries ago.

The hill lies in a rural area and is accessible by regional roads. Visitors should prepare for unpaved paths and open terrain, since the excavation site sits in the open countryside.

Among the finds are objects pointing to horse equipment, showing that residents raised livestock and engaged in trade. These details suggest an organized community, not merely simple farmers.
