The museum maintains permanent exhibitions about the Great Steppe, Orsk Fortress, and the industrial development of the city through various artifacts and documents.
Located at 46 Lenin Avenue, the museum opens Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00, with admission tickets priced at 100 rubles for all visitors.
The museum features an ethnographic studio called Russian Izba and Young Archaeologist School, providing educational programs focused on local traditions.
