Revenue house of K. I. Yablokov

The Revenue house of K. I. Yablokov is a three-story stone structure on Bolshaya Sadovaya Street featuring an ornate facade with baroque and classical elements. Its exterior walls display intricate stucco decorations and various architectural details that characterize the building's appearance.

The structure was built in 1901 by merchant K. Yablokov according to architect Nikolai Durbach's design, originally housing shops on the ground floor and rental apartments above. It evolved through different uses reflecting the commercial growth of early 20th-century Rostov-on-Don.

The building reflects the eclectic tastes of early 20th-century Russian merchants, blending different architectural styles on its exterior. This mix of influences shows how commercial buildings in Rostov-on-Don drew inspiration from various European traditions.
