Mavsumiy ishchi, Federal cultural heritage monument in Krasnoselsky District, Russia.
The Mavsumiy ishchi monument features a contemplative elderly worker in an apron, with rolled-up sleeves, carved from marble and granite materials.
Created between 1928 and 1929 by sculptor I.D. Shadr, the monument was installed in 1930 at Lermontovskaya Square, near a former labor exchange location.
The sculpture represents seasonal workers who traveled to Moscow for winter employment, embodying the dignity and philosophical depth of Soviet laborers.
