Afremov Building

The Afremov Building is an eight-story structure in Moscow with detailed facades showing characteristics of early 1900s Russian architecture. The structure houses various businesses and administrative functions distributed across multiple levels.

Architect Osip Shishkovsky designed the structure in 1904, and it officially opened in 1906 during a phase of urban expansion. This construction period coincided with Moscow's rapid growth, which fundamentally transformed the city.

The building displays architectural choices from the early 1900s, created during a period of significant economic transformation in Moscow. Its facade documents the visual decisions of an era that balanced between traditional and modern design approaches.

The structure is located at Sadovaya-Spaskaya Street 19 and is easily accessible via existing street infrastructure. Visitors should note that the interior spaces are privately used, so the exterior facade is the main focus for observation.
