House-museum of Korney Chukovsky

The House-museum of Korney Chukovsky is the residence of the celebrated Russian children's author in Peredelkino and displays his personal furnishings, books, and objects arranged as he left them. The rooms preserve a sense of how the writer lived and worked in his daily life.

Chukovsky moved into the house in 1938 as part of a writers' settlement in Peredelkino. The building underwent major renovation in 1994 and became a museum branch of the State Literary Museum.

The house shows connections between Chukovsky and other Russian artists through photographs and paintings displayed throughout the rooms. Visitors can observe how his life was intertwined with the cultural world around him.
