House-museum of Korney Chukovsky

The residence showcases the personal belongings, working space, and extensive library of celebrated Russian children's author Korney Chukovsky in their original arrangement.

The residence became Chukovsky's home in 1938 as part of a writers' settlement, and after significant renovations in 1994, it transformed into a branch of the State Literary Museum.

The museum displays connections between Chukovsky and prominent Russian cultural figures through photographs, paintings, and a collection of 4,500 books in multiple languages.

The museum organizes guided tours for groups of up to 15 visitors, with children under 14 requiring adult supervision and those under 16 receiving free admission.

The museum preserves Alexander Solzhenitsyn's writing desk and maintains Lidia Chukovskaya's room exactly as it appeared during her residence in the 1970s.
