Cathedral of the Nativity

The Cathedral of the Nativity is an Orthodox church in Orekhovo-Zuyevo featuring multiple domes, crosses, and decorative stone elements typical of Russian religious architecture. The building displays characteristic features of 19th-century Russian Orthodox design.

The cathedral was built in 1874 as the textile industry caused the town to expand rapidly. It emerged from the community's need for a place of worship during this period of industrial growth.

The cathedral's bell tower holds bells whose sounds carry across the Klyazma River valley for several kilometers. This ringing has been a distinctive feature of the town's acoustic landscape for over a century.
