Fettjeåfallet, Waterfall in Berg Municipality, Sweden
The Fettjeån river creates a 70-meter waterfall split into two distinct drops, forming a natural cascade in the Swedish mountainous landscape.
The waterfall and surrounding paths have maintained their natural state throughout centuries, representing the unchanged Nordic wilderness of Jämtland County.
Local residents maintain traditional practices of responsible outdoor recreation by preserving the natural state of trails leading to the waterfall.
The complete hiking trail extends for 4 kilometers round trip, starting from a designated parking area and requiring appropriate footwear for rocky terrain.
During the final approach, hikers cross a wooden bridge over Fettjeån river before encountering intermediate cascades leading to the main waterfall.
