Berg Municipality

Berg Municipality is a municipal district in northern Sweden that spans across Jämtland and Härjedalen regions, containing mountains, forests, and numerous lakes. The landscape shows a mix of natural features, with Svenstavik serving as the administrative hub.

This municipality formed in 1971 when five administrative districts merged, including Övre Ljungadalen, Oviken, Berg, Rätan, and parts of Hackås. This combination created the current administrative structure of the region.
