Public beach Långa Bryggan i Bjärred, Public bathing site in Bjärred, Sweden

Public beach Långa Bryggan in Bjärred is a sandy bathing site featuring white sand that extends roughly 200 meters along the Öresund strait. A 500-meter wooden pier stretches into shallow waters and terminates at a bath house containing changing facilities, a sauna, and a waterfront restaurant.

This location began in 1901 as part of a seaside resort complex featuring a hotel, promenade, and multiple dining establishments along the coast. The original concept centered on a cold bath house that continues to define the facilities and layout available today.

This beach serves as a gathering spot where locals and visitors spend sunny days swimming and socializing together. The presence of the historic bath house at the pier's end ties the modern recreational space to its origins as a seaside resort.

The beach provides public restrooms, shower facilities, barbecue areas, and a children's play area near Parkallén. Parking is readily available beside the main grounds, and the layout remains easily accessible for visitors of all abilities.

The bath house at the pier's end remains one of the few original structures still in use from the resort's founding era. Few visitors realize the interior spaces, including the sauna and period details, have been retained to honor the heritage of this early seaside bathing facility.
