Glória is a 100-meter tall residential tower with 29 floors in the Ružinov district. It houses 79 apartments of various sizes, equipped with two high-speed elevators and underground parking facilities.
The building was constructed between 2004 and 2006 and won the Residential House of the Year award in 2005. This recognition highlighted professional appreciation for its design during that period.
The building was designed by architects Peter Gál and Juraj Furdík and shows how modern residential towers shaped Bratislava's skyline. It reflects the construction style the city adopted in the early 2000s.
Access to the building is straightforward and modern elevators provide quick movement between all floors. Underground parking is available, making it convenient for residents with vehicles.
The building experienced sharply divided opinions after its completion: architects awarded it recognition for design excellence. However, the public voted it the least attractive new building in Slovakia in 2010, revealing the gap between professional and public taste.
