Presidential and Vice-Presidential Artifacts Museum, Academia Historica, Presidential museum in Zhongzheng District, Taiwan
The Presidential and Vice-Presidential Artifacts Museum displays collections and archives from former Republic of China presidents in a historical building in Taipei.
The building, completed in 1924, served as the Communications Bureau during Japanese rule and was designed by architect Matsunosuke Moriyama.
The museum maintains extensive collections of presidential furniture, artwork, and a digital reading room containing over 1,100 publications about ROC presidents.
Located near Ximen Station on the Taipei Metro, the museum welcomes visitors from Monday to Saturday between 09:30 and 17:00.
The building features 1920s advanced architectural elements including elevators, fire-proofing systems, and earthquake protection measures.
