Great Chase, Steel roller coaster in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, US
Great Chase features a chain lift hill reaching 13 feet tall before dropping into a sequence of turns and helixes along its 262.5-foot track.
The steel roller coaster opened at Six Flags America on May 8, 1999, replacing The Great Alonzo's Cannonball Coaster in the park's lineup.
Located in the Looney Tunes Movie Town section, this family attraction introduces young visitors to their first roller coaster experience.
Children must measure at least 42 inches tall to ride unaccompanied, and the roller coaster accommodates 12 riders per train in six two-person cars.
The roller coaster runs its course three complete times during each 66-second ride session, reaching speeds of 11.2 miles per hour.
