Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Catholic church in Walker's Point, Milwaukee, US

Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church is a rectangular brick building in the Walker's Point neighborhood and was designed with traditional Catholic architectural principles. The structure features an octagonal tower with a tall spire and round-topped windows set within pilaster-framed sections.

The German-born architect Victor Schulte designed the building in 1850, making it one of the oldest surviving religious structures in Milwaukee. It received National Register of Historic Places designation in 1972.

The building shows German architectural features through its Zopfstil design and reflects the community's connection to its German-speaking past. Visitors can see these European influences in the details of the exterior and interior spaces.

The building is located at 605 South 4th Street in the downtown area and is easily accessible on foot. The surrounding area offers parking options and good public transportation connections.

The interior houses handmade wooden altarpieces created in 1890 by craftsman Aegidius Hackner from La Crosse, Wisconsin. These skillfully carved pieces reflect the craftsmanship of that era and preserve part of the church's early decorative history.
