The Indian Ladder Trail exposes visitors to fossiliferous limestone formations that contain marine life records from 400 million years ago.
The park maintains twelve miles of marked trails for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and includes multiple picnic areas with nine reservable shelters.
The limestone cliff walls serve as natural corridors for hawk migration, allowing visitors to observe raptors gliding on thermal updrafts.
