Palmyra New York Temple

The Palmyra New York Temple is a place of worship made of white granite with contemporary architecture and a single spire topped by an angel Moroni statue. The building contains two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and provides endowment presentations available in multiple languages.

The temple opened on April 6, 2000, a date marking the 170th anniversary of the church's establishment in New York. Its location was deliberately chosen to honor the historical beginnings of the movement in this region.

The temple displays stained glass windows depicting the Sacred Grove, a location central to the faith's founding narrative. These windows connect visitors to a place of spiritual importance within the building itself.
