Rentschler House, Historic residence in Hamilton, Ohio, United States.

The Rentschler House is a three-story residence in Hamilton featuring sandstone and brick walls with a slate roof and decorative elements made from sandstone and wood. The building is situated in a historic district and contains details typical of early 1900s architecture.

Georg Adam Rentschler arrived from Württemberg in 1846 and became a partner in a foundry that produced cast iron products in Hamilton. His business success allowed him to build this house, which reflected his social standing in the industrial city.

The house displays early 1900s design features with its symmetrical porch and varied dormer window angles. These elements reflect the taste of wealthy industrial families who lived in Hamilton during that era.

The house is located on Dayton Street and is visible from the street, as it sits in a residential neighborhood. Since the building is privately occupied, visitors can only view it from the outside.

After sitting vacant for twelve years, the house underwent major renovations in 2014 and came back to life. This restoration saved an important piece of the city's architectural heritage from further decline.
