St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Gothic Revival church in Burlington, New Jersey

The brownstone Episcopal church features a tall stone spire containing eight bells cast at the Whitechapel Bell Foundry in England during 1865.

Built between 1846 and 1854, the church was designed by Richard Upjohn following the architectural model of St. John's Church in Shottesbrooke, England.

The cemetery contains the graves of notable figures including Joseph Bloomfield, Governor of New Jersey, and Elias Boudinot, President of the Continental Congress.

Located at 145 West Broad Street within the Burlington Historic District, the church maintains its position as the first Episcopal congregation in New Jersey.

Following a 1976 fire during Holy Thursday renovations, firefighters from multiple New Jersey cities and Pennsylvania crossed the bridge to control the flames.
