Tomlinson Run State Park

The 1,400-acre Tomlinson Run State Park combines a developed recreational section with natural wilderness areas featuring sandstone cliffs and forested hills.

The park, established in 1935 in West Virginia's northern panhandle, takes its name from early settlers who first inhabited this region.

The park maintains traditional outdoor recreation facilities while preserving natural landscapes for environmental education and wildlife observation programs.

Visitors can choose between 48 traditional campsites, five camper cabins, and yurts, with all accommodations including picnic tables and fire rings.

The park divides into two distinct sections: one half contains recreational facilities while the other preserves untouched wilderness with overhanging cliffs.
