Woodbury Country Club

Woodbury Country Club is a private golf facility on 50 acres with golf courses, banquet halls, and event spaces in New Jersey. The property offered year-round recreational activities and hosted various social events and celebrations.

The club was founded in 1897 and operated as a golf course and social gathering place for over a century. Closure came in 2009 when declining membership led to bankruptcy.

The facility served as a central meeting point for local community members, hosting numerous social events, golf tournaments, and private celebrations.

The property was sold after bankruptcy and is currently undergoing redevelopment, so it is no longer accessible as a golf and event venue. Visitors should note the site is in transition and not available for recreation.

After its sale, 200 new jobs will be created through construction of a medical rehabilitation facility on the grounds. The golf-based past of this location will transform entirely into a health-focused future.
