Barton Lodge, Historic residence in Hot Springs, United States.

The Classical Revival mansion features a two-and-a-half-story frame structure with a temple front and Corinthian columns supporting a pedimented portico.

Built between 1898 and 1900 by Seth Barton French, a major Virginia Hot Springs Company investor, the lodge became Malvern Hall in 1927.

Letitia Pate Whitehead Evans, who owned the property from 1927, made history as one of the first female board members of a major American corporation.

The property, located at 373 French's Hill Drive, sits on 1.7 acres of land overlooking The Homestead in Bath County.

The building incorporates early twentieth-century technology with a steel frame structure, which was an advanced construction method for its time.
