Haynies Corner Arts District, Creative district in Evansville, Indiana.
Located in downtown Evansville, the district encompasses four neighborhoods: Riverside, Culver, Goosetown, and Blackford's Grove along the Ohio River banks.
The district evolved from a residential area into an artistic center, now allowing residential showrooms and supporting numerous local artists within Vanderburgh County.
The district features galleries, studios, performance spaces, and regular art walks where visitors can interact directly with artists and view their creations.
First Friday events occur from May through October, offering opportunities to experience art exhibitions, live performances, and local vendor displays.
The district hosts the Midwest Dragon Boat Racing Festival and provides free Thanksgiving celebrations for the entire community each November.
