Lipstick on Caterpillar Tracks, Pop art sculpture at Morse College, Yale University, United States.

The sculpture presents a giant red lipstick mounted on military tank tracks, measuring 264 inches in height and 234 inches in width.

Created by Claes Oldenburg in 1969, the sculpture served as a platform for anti-war protests before its relocation to Morse College in 1974.

The installation coincided with Yale University accepting female students, transforming the sculpture into a symbol of gender representation in academic institutions.

Visitors can find the steel and aluminum sculpture in the Morse College courtyard, accessible through Yale University campus in New Haven.

The original version featured an inflatable lipstick section with wooden treads, which required replacement due to weather-related deterioration.
