Guardian Angels Church, Gothic Revival Catholic church in Manistee, United States
The church features a prominent brick exterior with six large stained glass windows along each side of the sanctuary and a central bell tower.
Built between 1888 and 1890 under Rev. Father H. W. Grimme's supervision, the church required 60,000 bricks from Onekama, Big Rapids, and Manitowoc.
The church design incorporates German and Irish architectural elements, reflecting the heritage of its founding community in late 19th century Michigan.
Located at 371-375 Fifth Street, the church provides seating for 450 people in the main area and houses a pipe organ in the balcony.
The 180-foot bell tower, the tallest structure in Manistee, contains twelve large bells that can be played from a keyboard in the choir loft.
