Monan Park

Monan Park is a baseball stadium in Columbia Point, Boston, designed to serve college athletes with quality playing conditions. The outfield dimensions reflect those of Fenway Park with a comparable left field wall, and an additional multipurpose field accommodates baseball, soccer, and lacrosse.

The facility was developed through a partnership between Boston College High School and University of Massachusetts Boston, beginning construction in June 2015. This collaboration provided UMass Boston with its first dedicated home field for baseball.

The stadium serves as the first permanent home field for UMass Boston Beacons baseball, making it an important milestone for the university's athletic program. Both the university and Boston College High School use the facility for their competitions.

The venue is easily reached via the MBTA Red Line subway and commuter rail services at the nearby JFK/UMass station. Keep in mind that the facility operates according to game schedules, so visiting during active competitions offers the best experience of the space.

The field is intentionally designed to echo Fenway Park, featuring the same distinctive left field wall that makes it a tribute to Boston's legendary baseball stadium. This design choice connects local baseball tradition with modern collegiate sports facilities.
