River Ring is a mixed-use development along the East River waterfront in Brooklyn featuring two glass towers rising to approximately 710 and 560 feet. The project contains 1200 residential units, office and retail spaces, and public areas connected to the water's edge.
The site served as an oil storage facility for Consolidated Edison for decades before Two Trees purchased it in 2019. This transformation of industrial land into a residential development represents a major shift in the area's waterfront use.
The development includes a YMCA with swimming pools and community spaces that serve the neighborhood throughout the year. These facilities reflect an effort to integrate social infrastructure into a contemporary waterfront project.
