Built in 1909 following a major fire that destroyed parts of downtown Richford, this building initially housed the factory night watchman and single workers.
The Sweat-Comings Company House represents early 20th-century industrial housing solutions, when companies provided accommodations for their workforce near factories.
The structure contains two separate living units, with the ground floor featuring original hardwood surfaces, plaster walls, and a French door.
In 1924, the entire building was moved across the street from its original location, while its attached garage was relocated elsewhere in Richford.
