Clearview Golf Club

Clearview Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course built on former dairy farmland with natural landscaping throughout the property. Strategic hazards and extensive practice areas are integrated into the course design.

William Powell designed and built this course from 1946 to 1948, creating the first golf course established by an African American. This achievement represented a significant milestone in American golf history.

The club welcomes players from all backgrounds and runs programs for young golfers to learn the sport. These initiatives show how the place serves the local community beyond just the game.
