Schloss Buchholz, Baroque castle in Waldkirch-Buchholz, Germany.
The castle features two floors with seven structural sections, a steep gable roof, and an ornate Rococo portal with exterior stairs.
Franz Anton Bayer von Buchholz constructed the castle in 1760, adding a chapel to the eastern section in 1767.
The castle displays preserved stucco ceiling decorations that represent the artistic preferences of 18th-century German nobility.
The Economic Ministry of Baden-Württemberg allocated 460,000 euros in 2019 for the restoration of the castle's garden house and carriage house.
The walled park contains a small garden house from 1767, which underwent complete renovation in 1953 and will serve as a caretaker residence.
