Linslerhof

Linslerhof is an estate with sandstone buildings, an on-site chapel, and multiple function rooms positioned near the Saar River. The complex spreads various rooms across the historic grounds for different purposes.

The estate was first documented in 1154 when Wirich and his mother Juttha donated it, requiring three masses to be read in the chapel. This founding shows the connection between landholding and religious practice in the medieval period.

The Saturday after Pentecost, called Leslertag, carries forward the tradition of blessing horses and gathering carriages at the estate. This event reflects how rural craft traditions remain meaningful to the local community.

The estate houses an underground shooting range built in 1994 and among Europe's most advanced facilities. This facility reflects the long hunting tradition rooted in the region.
