Jagdhaus Wildfang, Historic hunting lodge in Schorfheide, Germany
The hunting lodge stands within a 13-hectare property, surrounded by dense forest and connected by the Old Joachimsthaler Street in Brandenburg.
Built in 1981 for 4.2 million East German marks, Jagdhaus Wildfang served as the private hunting residence of GDR leader Erich Honecker until 1989.
The residence represents the connection between political power and hunting traditions in Germany, following Wilhelm II and Hermann Göring's presence in Schorfheide.

Honecker shot his last deer at this location on November 8, 1989, just one day before the fall of the Berlin Wall.
