Skovsbo Castle, Renaissance manor house in Kerteminde Municipality, Denmark.
Skovsbo Castle features Dutch gables, a vaulted basement, and an octagonal staircase tower with a prominent spire on its western side.
Construction of Skovsbo Castle began in 1572 under privy councillor Erik Hardenberg and reached completion in 1579, marking a period of architectural advancement.
The estate includes a roadside crucifix installed around 1600 by Anna Rønnow, demonstrating the religious customs of Danish nobility at that time.
The manor house covers 183 hectares of land and remains in private ownership, with Thomas Kirk Kristiansen acquiring the property in 2020.
An appendix with a second staircase from the original structure stands in the south-eastern corner, while a matching addition was constructed in 1891.
